above all love

Love, when done well, is powerful. It covers others flaws. It’s grace filled. It’s what we crave for. To be fully known and fully loved.

Peter learned this truth when Jesus forgave him for denying him, not once, but three times. In fact Jesus told him in advance what was going to happen, and that He was praying for him. Jesus, covered his sin. .
Too many have a loose understanding of love and relationships. Love is always a choice. Always. Loving well is a choice too.

God has called us to something different. God has granted to us a powerful element called "grace." When you mix grace with love you have a wonderful combination known as forbearing forgiveness.

Our focus and attitude toward others should be positive not negative. Looking for the good not the bad. Learning to be patient and forgiving others, "just as Christ forgave us."

When you love someone, you seek to cover up their faults, to promote their well being. You throw away the lists of their wrongs done, you refuse to be offended by something they may do or say. This is God's will for our life. Let's quit trying to find flaws and faults in each other. Let's quit making heavenly "citizen's arrest" every time someone falls short -- instead lets love deeply and encourage each other to love and good deeds! Go love deeply today and practice the art of forgiving and forgetting -- You might just find it refreshing!

May God cause us to live a life of love that imitates our Lords. May we learn to say, "Does no one condemn you? ... then neither do I, go and sin no more.”
